ESP32-P4 WiFi 6 Dev Kit

The ESP32-P4 is Espressif’s first application-class processor: a 32-bit dual-core RISC-V MCU designed for high-performance HMI, multimedia processing, and edge computing. The Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-DEV-KIT pairs it with an ESP32-C6 co-processor for wireless connectivity, delivering a complete development platform on a single board.

Dual-Core RISC-V

High-performance 32-bit dual-core processor targeting 400 MHz, with a dedicated low-power core for always-on tasks. 32 MB stacked PSRAM and 16 MB flash.

WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5

ESP32-C6 co-processor connected via SDIO provides 802.11ax (WiFi 6) at 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5 Low Energy. No external modules required.

MIPI Display and Camera

2-lane MIPI-DSI output at up to 1.5 Gbps per lane for high-resolution displays. 2-lane MIPI-CSI input with integrated ISP and H.264 encoder at 1080p 30 fps.

USB 2.0 OTG High-Speed

Full USB 2.0 OTG at 480 Mbps with hardware-switchable HOST/DEVICE mode via onboard jumper. USB-A connector included.

Audio Subsystem

ES8311 codec, NS4150B amplifier, onboard SMD microphone, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and MX1.25 speaker connector. Ready for voice applications out of the box.

40-Pin GPIO Header

27 programmable GPIO pins exposed on a standard 40-pin header. Includes I2C, I3C, UART, and power rails for prototyping with external hardware.

100M Ethernet

RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics for wired networking. PoE header available for power-over-Ethernet modules.

Expandable Storage

SDIO 3.0 TF card slot for high-speed removable storage alongside the 16 MB onboard flash.

Security

Digital signature peripheral and secure key management built into the ESP32-P4 silicon. Hardware-accelerated cryptographic operations.
